This Five-Coin Set features the complete 2003 Proof Issue of the Australian Koala Platinum Coin Series. As well as a 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz and 1/20oz pure platinum coin, it also includes a 1oz Australian Stories companion series coin – The Arts.

Koala Reverse Design

An appealing image of a mother and baby koala appears on the reverse of each coin, except the 1oz Australian Stories coin, which portrays two ballet dancers and several paint brushes against a coloured depiction of the Sydney Opera House.

Historic Mintmark

The reverse of each coin also features the Mint's historic 'P' mintmark.

Proof Quality Pure Platinum

All coins in the 2003 Proof Issue of the Australian Koala are minted from 99.95% pure platinum in proof quality, with frosted design elements on a shiny background.

Her Majesty The Queen

Legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coins' obverses shows Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Magnificent Presentation

Magnificently presented in a jarrah and blackbutt presentation case, the Five-Coin Set is accompanied by a serial-numbered silver medallion.
